The Chicago Temple at Night

Pictures of us at the fountain just outside the Chicago Temple...it looks really pretty at night when it is lit.

So, I have finally gotten around to making a blog--Yea! I am still trying to figure out exactly how to do this...but it can't be that complicated can it? My intelligence seems to be failing me so far...I will putter around until I figure out just how to work this thing...then I hope to create a unique template/backdrop or whatever it is called. Tackling the template right off the line might be a little ambitious. Until then!

Cake Decorating--it was basically a party...

Haley and I took a cake decorating class at Michael's craft store: The instructor was more Mormon than almost any woman I have ever met--she just doesn't know it yet. I ate a lot of icing; Haley threw her cake on a car (accidentally, the car we found out minutes later, as we came into class late, was the intructors--SO funny, but so awkward); and we just had an all around good time. This is a picture of me and the very first cake I designed and decorated. The class was a lot of fun, but that was probably more because of Haley than anything else.

SO one morning I was making my wonderful husband pancakes, and I was having troubles pouring symmetrically into the pan...in my incompetence and by some miracle, I poured a perfect fish!

Fall in Milwaukee

Wisconsin is gorgeous in the Spring, Summer and Fall...if it wasn't for the crazy and long winter, I would actually love living here!

Two Year Anniversary

For our second anniversary I went into debt so I could by Phil an ipod--it took me a couple of months to save up my spending money, but it was totally worth it! Phil was more excited than I have ever seen him--he isn't really a 'gusher'. Phil got my Mrs. scriptures (without my maiden name), which--in the end--will probably benefit me more than an ipod will him...I wonder if he was dropping a hint? I am not sure what day we took these pictures: I love presents so much I might not have been able to wait for Phil to open his ipod;)
